Please allow enough time for check in and jersey pick up
prior to first session. We are expecting a good turn out and it will get
busy at sign in.
I will meet with parents immediately following the first
session as soon as we come off the ice. I am hoping we can meet at bottom
of stands at the far end of rink by Zamboni.
Evaluations will encompass from the time the player arrives
at the rink, until when they leave.
Players will be expected to have themselves warmed up and
ready to get to work on the ice at our start time.
Good behaviour in the room and on the ice is always
expected.
Skaters:
Final numbers will determine if you play 1 or 2 games.
Please refer to website for updates as rosters will be posted the night before
games.
Goalies:
We currently have 7 goalies registered.
Session 1 will see all goalies rotating through the nets as
evenly as possible. Plan is to incorporate some drills making use of 4
nets.
Session 2 will have the Aces goalie evaluator along with
another former experienced goalie. A portion of that ice time will have
the goalies doing a series of goalie specific drills and movements at one end
to assist in goalie evaluations. Following this second session we will be
reducing the number of goalies to 4. There will be individual meetings
with each goalie after this session.
